I'd like to start by thanking my high school music directors, Tom Stevens and Jamie Bolduc. Without you guys, I'd never have learned how to use all this recording crap in the first place. You guys were extremely supportive of the first album (if Railroads counts as an album) and I still appreciate all the kindness you've shown me. I'd like to thank my friends, Jamie Sherburne, and Jake Kallander for their enthusiasm for the album all the way at the beginning of the process in 2014. We didn't know each other hardly at all then, but your excitement gave me the confidence to keep writing music and actually finish this thing. A thank you to David Corson, Jamie Sherburne, Jake Kallander, Corey Hale, and Jimmy Alba for doing your best to get some tracks down on this project. David and Jamie, we should do some B-sides at some point. Jake, thanks for driving all the way from Goffstown to Alton (an hour away) to lay down some bass tracks. We didn't use 'em all, but I owe you man. Jimmy, you're a scarey good player, and it was awesome having you tear up the bridge of "For the Music" in half an hour. Corey, always a pleasure having you on projects. There hasn't been a project leave this studio without you on it, and it's been a blast. Can't wait to see what you and the rest of Squatch do. It's worth noting Corey left work early on August 16th (the day before release) to record the solo for "Black and White" because I couldn't come up with anything. Like I said, he's the man. Another thank you to Justin Moser for taking my terrible pictures and transforming them into amazing artwork for the album. Also, thanks for making the 9,001 edits to the back while I changed the tracklist and features at the last minute...like six times. A special thank you to my mom and sisters, Ulena, and Rebekah for putting up with my disappearance from the house while I lived over at the studio. I feel like I haven't seen you guys in forever. Mom, I promise we'll go to BWW after I clean the studio. Ulena, yes, I now have time to help you beat the elite four, you can stop asking. Bekah, let's go to McDanks and get some fries. Saving the best for last, I'd like to thank my dad, John Bartolin, for letting me rent the upstairs bedroom of the lakehouse, and then paying me ridiculous amounts of money so I can pay for it. Actions speak much louder then words. By far, you've been the most supportive person during this whole process. Kinda funny to think you used to be the kid amazed by all the dials and switches in a studio, and now I own one.
