The New Romantic is Phoenix based singer-songwriter Randy Forte's 3rd album. Recorded in Nashville Tn, this album features an all-star line-up of some of Music City's most prominent players: producer and guitarist Gary Burnette (John Wesley Harding), bassist Chris Donohue (Emmylou Harris, Elvis Costello), keyboardist Tim Lauer (The Civil Wars, Brad Paisley), drummer John Louis Richardson (Will Hoge, Paul Chastain), backing vocalists Jack Sundrud (Poco), Marcia Ramirez, & Richard Wold, and mixing, Ben Strano.

The 6-panel CD features four original paintings by Phoenix artist, David Byrd.
