This album has everything from traditional heartfelt country to a bit of pop and a little bit of rock and roll. 'I Take This Beer' is a humorous spin on a wedding gone bad. He's left standing at the alter by his fiance, then decides it's a good idea to go to a bar with the groomsman for a guys night out. In the process, starts reading his wedding vows to his can of beer & many there after... 'Famous For Something' fits me to a tee. Always dreaming of being on the cover of a magazine or being a star on stage somewhere with thousands of screaming fans. But ending up staying in a small town being the hometown hero, joining the local volunteer fire department & doing anything & everything to help out in the community. The title track 'I Got It Bad' is base on the day I proposed to my beautiful wife on the Cliffs of Moher in Ireland. I traveled to meet her after 9 months of conversing with her over the internet. It didn't take me long to figure out that this was the women I wanted to spend the rest of my life with. The song says it all. "I got it bad, and it's so good". 'I Want That Kiss' is another song I wrote for & about my wife. She's an amazing beauty & I can't say it enough how lucky I am to have her by my side! It has a bit of a pop feel to it that fits in with what the current artists are doing these days. It's a bit different from my normal traditional country roots but wanted to put something different out there to hopefully capture the younger crowd to my music. 'Drinking Her Beautiful' will make you laugh while you picture a guy at the bar who doesn't feel his bartender is up to his standards till he has a few drinks in him. Then the fun begins.... 'She Settled For A Cowboy' is your typical country song about a guy who can't get enough of the rodeo or working his ranch from sun up to sun down While his wife stays at home thinking about nothing but when he'll call it quits & spend his days at home by the fire wrapped up in each others arms till the end of time. 'When You Call Me Daddy' is the story about the day my son was born. His grandpa passed away one year to the day of his birth. His mother did not want to grieve his passing on the same day our son was born. I said it's a blessing & it's what he would want. He was born later that day. 'Two Step On The Bar' is fun & upbeat taking a guy & his girl to the corner bar for their own kind of good time.
