Rachmaninov's Rhapsody on a theme of Paganini opus 43 is a set of 24 variations for Piano & Orchestra, based on Paganini's caprice no. 24 for solo violin in A minor. The music goes on a rhythmically and harmonically transforming journey, and features Solo Piano Cadenzas in the middle and near the end of the piece. The recording is from a live concert Daniel performed in May 2012.
