In the myth of Southern Iran, there was a giant deep-fish inhabited the seas and local people called it “Damahi”. It was the provider of homeless people on the coasts and savior of fishermen stuck in the storm and companion of lovers. It is narrated that once upon a time, a giant whirlpool and a furious storm hit the South sea of Iran and it posed a threat to people to drown. Damahi the symbol of Utopia filled with happiness and music-blessing again. The following day, the carcass of Damahi was found on the shore and his mouth became a safe gate to the island and the sun rose in one of his eyes and set in the other.
