The story behind the voice of emerging Nigerian-born, cross-genre artist Ebedoz, is as unique as the sound of his name—which stands for “king’s compassion”. Immigrating to North America from Nigeria in his early teens, Ebedoz’s love for music traces back to his childhood days in West Africa, when starry moonlit nights inspired him to write original lyrics to songs while his peers played in the distance. Today, his passion is unquestionable, and his work ethic—which was nurtured at an early age, has helped propel his drive in the industry. Although he jokes about being a “factory baby”, working as a young child for his father’s business, Ebedoz explains that music has stuck with him on his journey.
