Cassiopeia, a debut album by The Astral Stereo Project. Since I was a kid I have always recorded music because I love doing it. I have made lots of albums that will never see the light of day and almost all had a concept or idea behind them. I find albums like that more rewarding and especially to record as it feels like nine tracks that make a whole. Cassiopeia was an idea that came to me when getting into that whole late 70s early 80s era, its sci-fi tv shows, films and music. I have an old fashioned approach to the idea of an 'album' - I remember looking at vinyl covers and wondering what the music was like behind the cover - ELO spring to mind with Out of the Blue which had a space ship on the front and music to match. It was a joy working on this project - I hope you like it.
