Lord Supreme is one of the most creative emcees of today. He was born Maloun Cook on the South side of Columbus, Ohio. He has many aliases such as Cosmos, 7 Typhoons, Maloun DA Prophet, and Snake Eyes. After hearing Krs-One'S My Philosophy, Maloun fell in love with hip hop. At the tender age of sixteen he was experimenting with freestyling and rhyming behind a beat. He seen how words and music could capture the attention of others. Maloun was intrigued by battling and just creating rhymes to move crowds. Maloun was influenced by many artists such as Rakim, Krs-One,Ultra Magnetic MC's, Big Daddy Kane, and also the Gza/Genious. He knew he was destined to be into hip hop and be an emcee. In 1997 Maloun joined a hip hop group called Mid East. He and the group performed at many venues and kicked freestyles on radio stations. But when the group broke up in 1999, he and two other group members went their separate way and formed a new group called 9th Column Woe. In 2004 9th Column Woe was signed by a record label called Cipher He Records. In 2005 Maloun wanted to start the year off with a new identity so he went with his righteous name and attribute in life Lord Supreme. With his superhero and scientific lyrics, Maloun delivers his rhymes for his listeners to sit back and enjoy.
