My music is simple but cares about rich melody, When my wife and I went through the terrible pain of losing a baby we were devestated by the limited resources that were available to help people. Our three year old daughter began having questions and I just didn't know where to start. So, I began reading an abridged verson of Francis Hodgson SECRET GARDEN. The garden image really was a powerful way to help communicate to my daughter the way life works. Also, it was a powerful way to help us feel sad together but not feel overwhelmed. We were more reflective about the need to be sad when life naturally sad. The garden image was a part of my prayers and writing for months after and so I began writign this album. What I descovered was that there is magic that happens there. There is healing that happens there. As we encounter this place more and the person that desires to meet us there, then our here and now become more like the sweet by and by and even the soon and very soon. My prayer is that this album will bring heaven into your living room, car ride, and hospital room.That it would help you know God's presence and comfort and feel his love. Make you empowered with peace to see the bigger story you are a part of right where you sit, lay, or go on home.
