“Wrote this beautiful song this morning, it really gave me hope when I read back the words I'd written..... I love it when Jesus guides my pen and speaks to me through my own writing. maybe one day someone will be able to put it to music.... “ (Joanna, 15th July 2012.) By God’s Grace that ‘one day’ has come to pass, as Joanna’s poem, “NOT ALONE”, has now been put to music! “NOT ALONE” beautifully portrays the hope which can be experienced, as we walk the path of life, even through the darkest days and hardest trials, knowing we’re “NOT ALONE”. Even during times of tears and pain there’s still “a glimpse of HOPE”, and the promise of the rainbow, even though faint. The lyricist, Joanna, acknowledges that through the trials in her own life God is perfecting His “masterpiece of Grace”. You too, can hold onto the hope and reassurance that you are a “precious child who He LOVES to overflowing.” Joanna has written the most amazing poems based on her relationship with Jesus, and the hope that keeps her “SINGING and BELIEVING”. Her prayer is that you too will know His peace and love as you realise you’re “NOT ALONE”. It seems no coincidence that the name ‘Joanna’, means ‘God is gracious’.
