An acoustic-based rock musician hailing from New Jersey, Brian Colburn has been a mainstay of the NJ music scene for the past decade, and is currently making a name for himself in the singer / songwriter circle. Colburn's music is grounded in soaring melodies and memorable hooks, giving his music a cross-genre appeal. Brian's influences range from: 90's rock acts such as Blues Traveler, From Good Homes, Sister Hazel, Toad The Wet Sprocket, & Barenaked Ladies; Current acoustic-rock staples such as Jack Johnson, Eric Hutchinson, & Donavon Frankenreiter; jam-rock acts such as Phish, moe., and Dangermuffin; and timeless artists such as John Hiatt, Billy Joel, & Tom Petty. "Forever Was Worth the Wait" features 15 original tracks, and includes guest appearances from: Jamie Coan (From Good Homes), Mike Sivilli (Dangermuffin), LeJoe Young (Travis Tritt), DC Slater, Chris Bauer, Sean Faust, Kris Van Cleave, Rob Aitken, Allan Varnfield, Will Jones, Kathy Barwick, Kelly Brandt, Jason Palladino, Alex Gomez, Bob Spear, and Doug Phelps. Brian has appeared as an opening act for Blues Traveler, Toad The Wet Sprocket, Plain White T's, Yarn, Dangermuffin and Hot Day at the Zoo. He's also sat in on songs with From Good Homes, and the aforementioned Dangermuffin & Hot Day At The Zoo. Brian continues to perform throughout the North-East, and plans on expanding that terriroty in 2013.
