In 2007, out of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada; the Rap music powerhouse SouthSide Militia was born. Spoox, Victor E., Sam Skeem, Dollarz, and Moni Mones met through mutual friends, networks in the streets, and the common desire to create fresh influential music. Over the years, they have come together to create many original Hip-Hop related projects, including the music videos "L AFTER L", "I GET MINE", "STILL WOODZ", "NONE OF DEM", and "GET RIGHT". Also, their first album, "PARENTAL ADVISORY" continues to move units having been well received by listeners.

Currently, the group collaborates on a weekly basis to formulate a signature sound and grow their musical talents. With their first album complete, they plan to focus their attention on the mixtape scene, and performing live. SSMilitia has performed a number of live shows already, and has the showmanship to keep the crowd entertained, and coming back. By directing their own music videos, producing their own tracks, and writing their own lyrics, SSM has become a self-sufficient hit-breeding music factory headed for success.
