Emma started singing and playing the guitar and piano at an early age. Growing up with a family who also loved to play, write and sing, it was a natural progression for her to start a band with two of her siblings, Adam and Rachel Fee, who later became The Happy Endings, whose melodies and trademark harmonies have been well received in the Hull and surrounding area. Emma still performs with them to date. Keen to push her songwriting skills in a different direction and further broaden her style, she chose recently to embark on a solo project. Her music is still mostly acoustic based but since branching out on her own, Emma is keen to embrace different sounds within the recording studio. She has also recently been working with newly signed Hull DJ Lewis Holohan on some of his Progressive House songs, one of which "You Are The One" has attracted much positive interest in the local House Music community. Emma's EP was recorded and produced by John Cox who also provided backing vocals, synth, drum programming and some bass. The trumpet, bass, backing vocals, poetry and ukulele you hear were brought to you by Daniel Seath. Everything else (guitar, vocals, cello, saxophone, keyboards) were played/sung by Emma. And finally the giggles on Saturday Song are beautifully performed by Louie Heath.
