9:00 am is a wonderful collection of standards performed by the stellar jazz duo of pianist Brian Ward and tenor saxophonist Dave Hagelganz. The title of this album comes from the duo's regular rehearsal time. The program includes tunes from the Great American Songbook, Brazilian composer Antonio Carlos Jobim and jazz artists including Woody Shaw, Sam Rivers and Kenny Barron.
