Amanda Wood is one of Canada’s most highly celebrated vocalists and a very busy International-touring recording artist. With a voice described by David Foster as “sultry and unique” she is a soulful performer with a gift for emotional story telling and a talent for delivering unforgettable performances. . Career highlights include concerts with David Foster, completing her dream album at Captiol Studios in Hollywood, performing at the Vancouver and Beijing Olympics, a private concert for the King of Malaysia, concerts at the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas as well as many tours and performances across Asia. She is a regular to sing the National Anthems with the Vancouver Canucks NHL team and has also performed the American anthem and God Bless America for the NFL Buffalo Bills. She works regularly with charities, in particular children’s charities such as the Ronald McDonald House, Zajac Ranch for Children and the B.C. Children’s Hospital Foundation. She holds an annual charity Christmas concert benefiting Cystic Fibrosis Canada which has a personal connection for her because her young nephew has been diagnosed with the genetic disease.
