Wavyy Jonez DaShaun Jones, better known by his stage name Wavyy Jonez, was born July 17, 1994 in West Islip, N.Y. Wavyy dealt with the separation of his parents and moved from shelter to shelter around the state in the early stages of his life. One day in 1999, Wavyy was sent to a daycare, where he was taught how to read and recite poetry, planting the early seeds toward his musical interest. With a metaphorical style reminiscent to New York artists of the 1990s, Wavyy has since moved to Spring Lake right out side of Fayetteville, North Carolina and is currently a recording artist at eccRecordsLLC a independent label based out of the same state, On July 17, 2014, Wavyy released his first mixtape entitled R.E.D.
