DJ Dusty is a Canadian DJ/Producer from Ottawa, Ontario. He has 25 years of experience playing at legendary clubs and has now released a new full length album of original material entitled "Oceans". It sits somewhere between the Trip Hop of yesteryear and the music of the future with its layers of swirling strings and orchestral sounds, dreamy guitars and warm baselines that all sit perfectly over beds of tight drums and smooth synths. With it's moody melodies, hazy soundscapes and hard hitting drums, it draws from various influences like Groove Armada, DJ Shadow, The Chemical Brothers, Emancipator and others.
