It seems as though Christian rappers are moving away from Christ centered rap and moving more towards "Conscience Rap". Elijah and Marc Andre' rap over an aggressive drum beat accompanied by d**e Synths and pads to give you a more the face experience. With this song I want to call all of my fellow laborers back to the mission that Jesus commissioned us to do, "Reach the lost". I feel like we're in an era where artist want to entertain more than teach, minister, rebuke or correct. I understand the need for clean entertaining christian music. But, it seems like there's way too much focus on the artist and not enough teaching or exhortation going on in the Christian Hip Hop Genre'.
