MAXWELL'S DEMON... is a film noir screwball tragedy with a time travel twist. Rosetta Stone has apparently committed suicide, but not before artificially inseminating Helvetica Bold (DARCY DUNLOP). As private detective Dick Valard (ANDY CURTIS) investigates, he uncovers a strange and complex trail of clues. Helvetica Bold's unwitting sperm donor is an astronomer named Maxwell (MARK DAVID STEWART) who had volunteered for a series of experiments in Rosetta Stone's lab into the effects of caffeine on dreams. As Dick Valard digs into Maxwell's dream world and Helvetica Bold's past, Maxwell's Demon catches up with him...
