Paris Hilton just does what she does. Therein lies the complexity of America’s latest media darling. No one is quite sure what it is that Paris Hilton does. Perley Curtis grew up in Exeter, Maine and developed a love of country music and its legends like Buck Owens, Merle Haggard and Loretta Lynn. After first picking up a guitar at age eight, he played his first paying gig when he was just nine years old - at his uncle’s wedding reception. In the eight years following, Curtis performed in bluegrass bands throughout New England before moving to Nashville in 1988. Since his move to Music City, the skilled singer/songwriter/musician has formed a country band of his own and has also earned a reputation as a skilled dobro and steel guitarist, performing with artists such as: Holly Dunn, Becky Hobbs, Johnny Paycheck, Connie Smith, The Reno Brothers, Del Reeves, Loretta Lynn and most recently, Charlie Louvin.
