Eric Parker is back with a fusion of smooth jazz, r&b and funk. His cd titled "A New Beginning", which expresses his feelings in his new recordings. The title tracks (1)Ntro, (7)Nterlude, and (12)Outro, all seem like the same song, but listen closely and you'll hear three different renditions, encompassing, electric guitar, saxophone, heavy bass, drums, and he's not shy with the string arrangements and keyboard. Track #9 "Dys Funk Shun" shows a crazy fusion of funk with a string arrangement. Now that's crazy when you mix the two! The bonus tracks #13 " Night Ride" is just that. It will take you away in your mind, and if you're actually driving while it's playing be careful. It will make you forget that you are driving! "Chardonnay" track #14 is just as smooth and as inviting as the wine itself. The two tracks are from the upcoming album "Stereo Type" scheduled to be released sometime in the fall 2007.
