The Short Bus Kids, fresh off a landmark 25th release on their Bounce House Recordings label, are back (just like the Spring weather) with a new track composed with singer/songwriter Kelly Hayden. This project had been in the works for sometime and crossed 3 continents to complete, but the production duo of DK Watts and Lance Leber (Short Bus Kids) couldn't be more satisfied with the result. "My cousin Kim LeClaire laid down some amazing keys to this track in my studio right before I left San Francisco and moved to Amsterdam," said DK Watts. Lance and I finally completed it and then sent it to Kelly. She really loved it and came back to us with the full song. We were down with "Better" immediately." The Short Bus Kids' music is regularly featured in industry magazines such as I DJ Magazine, De:Bug, Urbnet and DMC Update. They have released 75+ original works on Bounce House and other top labels and have remixed for a growing number of respected imprints. Kelly Hayden, who hails from Melbourne, Australia, is a growing name in the deep house landscape, collaborating with fellow Aussie Dave Miller on a number of releases. Her talents are becoming very much in demand these days. For remix duty, Bounce House took an eclectic approach, seeking out the Midlands' and Myna Music label owner Da Sunlounge to put his deep, funky house stamp on things. London's tech house guru and Evasive Records boss Rob Pearson adds his touch, while Amsterdam-based producer Cablejuice (aka Chico Lemosdesousabarbosa) works his experimental magic.
