This is a heavily guitar-driven record that rocks and much as twangs. There are plenty of hooks to grab you right away but also a rich depth that rewards on further listens.

Mud, Blood & Beer is a New York City-based alt-country, roots-rock, twang-core band that has been kicking around since early 2007, playing at some of the best dive bars that Gotham has to offer, including the Rodeo Bar, Hill Country, the Knitting Factory, and the Lakeside Lounge. The band carries on the spirit of alt-country pioneers Uncle Tupelo, the Jayhawks, and the Drive-By Truckers.
