Michael and Linda Adler have ministered together over the past twenty years in a variety of music ministries including contemporary recording group TRUTH, the Oral Roberts Television Ministry, Promise Keepers, the James Robison Evangelistic Association, the Scott Dawson Evangelistic Association and the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association. It was while recording daily television shows for the Oral Roberts television ministry in Tulsa and Hollywood that Michael met his wife, Linda, who is also a studio singer and has her own vocal coach studio in Birmingham.

Michael has been a leader, director, clinician, teacher, and producer as he has followed God’s call on his life as a worship leader. Linda is the mother of their four sons, (a formidable task in itself), and also pours her life into the many voice students she teaches each week. Together they have served as conference leaders, speakers, teachers and clinicians. They have served the local church in music ministry in Iowa, with Dr. Don H. Polston; Bell Shoals BC in Tampa with Dr. Robert Reccord; Castle Hills BC in San Antonio with Dr. George Harris, and currently are serving at Shades Mountain Baptist in Birmingham, with Dr. Danny Wood. Michael is also a songwriter and has contributed articles to many ministry-oriented periodicals. They have recorded industry projects and artist albums as well as radio and television commercials in studios across the US. They have also served as worship leaders for the South Texas Billy Graham Crusade, James Robison Crusades, the North American Mission Board, SBC Evangelism Conferences, SBC Missions Conferences, SBC Music Week, LIFEWAY Festivals of Marriage and others.

Michael has served in an advisory capacity for the University of Mobile's Center for Performing Arts as well as Trevecca University and has served as a guest teacher for Liberty University's Center for Worship, Samford University, Beeson Divinity School and New Orleans Seminary. Currently, Michael is the Worship Pastor at Shades Mountain Baptist Church; the second local church ministry where Michael and Linda have followed retiring music ministers who have spent nearly 25 years in that position. In each place God has used them to help the church move into a new chapter in worship as they continue to build on the strong leadership of their predecessors.

Through the outreach ministry of “Adler Ministry Group”, Michael and Linda lead worship workshops, concerts and worship events and have also served as part of the ministry staff of the LIFEWAY Festivals of Marriage, where they led worship and gave marriage-strengthening tools to couples of all ages. Away from the church, whenever possible the Adlers are committed to their Friday’s off where Linda sets the course for the day. They have four sons. Luke, Chris, Jake and Brady.
