Eve Goodman and John Caldwell have been playing as a duo ever since they met at blues jam in Pittsburgh, PA in 2003. Their intricate guitar work and vocal harmonies enthrall audiences. Their new CD is a combination of John's visionary music production and Eve's strong songwriting. Eve's musical styles are eclectic: "Esther" takes one back to the standards of the 1940s, whereas "As It Is" and "When the Sun Goes Down" urges the listener to wake up and take a look around. The alt. country songs "More Than Okay," "Waiting On You" and "The Same Sky" are more than just love gone wrong but the resiliency of the heart while the country blues "People and the Weather" was amusingly inspired by an in-flight airline magazine article! Eve and John's renditions of covers like the traditional "Poor Wayfaring Stranger" and Paul Simon's "Song About The Moon" are unique and refresshing.
