Almost like a sweet gospel sound, this is a touching, moving tribute to young Taylor Martin who taught great lessons of courage and love. Taylor was a true hero. When he was just 5 years old, young Taylor was diagnosed with NF2, a rare disease which he had to live with for 16 of his 21 years. The disease took Taylor's hearing at age 12 one day while he was at school. Even though I recorded the song for Taylor and I knew he could not even hear the song, the sound engineer, John Keenan told me he had a deaf client who he wrote music for. She would feel the vibrations of the songs John wrote for her. That way she could tell whether the song was what she wanted or not. So I knew I had to sing the song for Taylor anyway. I sang this song to Taylor by holding his arm, hoping he could at least feel the song through that touch. He did. Taylor thanked me for singing the song to him with sign language. One month later Taylor made that journey back home to God. You may know someone who is ready to go back home. Share this song with those you love, those ready to take that ultimate journey.
