A new record by Swan with a different flavor... "Beautiful Dream" continues into the violins, backing vocals, analog synths and upright bass textures of Swan's solo record sound, but with a more modern and direct mixing approach and more logical down to earth lyrics and chordal concepts in the songwriting than his more abstract 'Gossamer' record from 2014. After releasing 2 other records since then, with his band the "the Honeybrew", ('Propolis' and 'Royal Jelly') including their own plethora of special guests and psychedelic soul/jazz moments, comes this new subtle gem. Blues, folk, jazz, rock, and even reggae and country, are some of the genres mixed together with Swan's diversely creative edge. Joined by Steven Cook on upright bass, and Amber Bassett on some sultry-toned backing vocals, who also painted the album cover for the new record, the musical textures are as colorful as the cover art itself.
