French Ka$anova. One of the most creative Hip-Hop producers coming from the small town of Warrenton, VA, about an hour west of Washington, D.C. Since 2008, he has released six mixtapes on DatPiff, Live Mixtapes and Spinrilla, which includes his “You Know Itʼs Me (YKIM) series.

Frenchs love for music began in church at age 4 when he began playing the drums.That passion took a turn around the age of 14 when he realized he was an artist with the pen.

By 17, French began his own record label titled “Sound Like Money Entertainment”. Putting his creativity to use, he became the labels in-house producer for other artist in the area. In a world full of distractions, French remains motivated for his family and for those who constantly advised he would never succeed in the game. Real and authentic is how he describes his music. French has a story to tell and unlike others, he has a passion for music to help voice his upbringing and background. Being from the DMV, artists such as Shy Glizzy and Fat Trel are paving the way for Hip-Hop but French says its artists like Master P, Diddy, Jay-Z and Lilʼ Wayne that remind him that every great independent rapper starts from the ground. His latest mixtape is set to be released during the fourth quarter of 2017 and with the recent YouTube viewings for his new singles “Back At It” and “Already”, itʼs going to be a blazinʼ summer.
