Jhonattan Simon ("PUKA") revitalizes the charango, the Peruvian 10-stringed mandolin. This is the second album of his 7-part charango collection, introducing his own adventurous, original songs to an existing body of traditional works. "En Matices Rojos" ("In Red Nuances") draws upon New Age, Electronic, and other contemporary sounds to support the Latin rhythms and magical melodies of Charango, and the result is a coming-of-age for one of the youngest charango masters of a new generation: PUKA.
