Following meeting professional drummer Mirko Schmitt in Berlin, In October 2011 Mike Richards played a few acoustic songs in a bar in Berlin, that night Aries Guinto the sound engineer liked what he heard and asked Mike to record at Tricone Studios situated in the Funkhaus, the old GDR radio broadcasting house. There he met Australian Rowan Smy, the idea was to record an EP of Mike's acoustic tracks, however it was obvious that many of the tracks were needing a full band. Guinto originally from the Philippines but who had worked with many bands there and also in London and touring the US was also a bass player, and decided to get his fingers back on the bass strings as well as producing and mixing as he felt the tracks had something, Smy, studio owner and producer followed suit as he was also an accomplished touring lead guitarist, then band was then formed by Mirko Schmitt formally a session drummer for names like the Prodigy, Snap and Imagination. With the time span over which Mike had written his songs there are many different influences that colour the tracks throughout this emotional roller coaster of an album giving it the light and shade you would want from an indie, blues, folk, rock festival.
