For five years, songwriter Linda Allen has been singing songs at the bedside of those who are seriously ill or dying, and training others to do this work. She has been an interfaith minister, trained as a Certified Clinical Musician and as a Chaplain and Hospice volunteer. She has also founded two choirs (Threshold Choirs) to serve at bedsides in her home town of Bellingham, Washington. These songs were created to bring healing and comfort, many written during her time as a Creative Resource Resident at Holden Village -- a remote retreat center high in the Cascade Mountains where LInda now lives and works.
