This "extremely listenable" album is rooted in the great American folk tradition, with influences ranging from Hank Williams to Bob Dylan and beyond. The ShepCats' individual and collective musical experiences have taken them from the Combat Zone of Boston to the Coffee Houses of Cambridge; from the symphonic stages of New York to the internationally known Fringe Jazz Festival in Kinsale, Ireland. Although they are primarily a vocal group, the ShepCats feature compelling and virtuoso performances on guitar, mandolin, and double bass.
