I called this album In A Day Or Two, because the recording process was done in five, 3 hour sessions. This is the product of years of listening to the Chili Peppers, Frusciante, and Radiohead, as well as tons of other bands. This is the first time I've done vocals on my music and my first time writing lyrics, so most of the songs are about things that have been swimming in my head for years. Songs like "Swept By" and "One Time" are about my mother, who had passed when i was 12, "Summer's Late" was inspired by stories told to me by Steve Herrera, a fellow musician and a good friend of mine, "In A Day" and "It's There" are about my girlfriend of just about two years, "From This Dream" and "Straight Lines" are about these reoccurring dreams i used to have, which strangely stopped shortly after i recorded these songs, and "My Friends" is really just about missing my friends.
