Clay Rose was born under candle light on the high planes of Colorado. Rain and his mother’s heart gave him rhythm. His father’s eyes gave him blue. Clay’s affinity for highways and eclectic personalities has kept him in good supply for material. He lives in a passing blur of state lines and mileage markers, which is all that link him to reality. He molds language into landscapes and sculpts a home out of heartache. You can also explore his psychedelic, rockabilly side with his band, Gasoline Lollipops, or his zombie -pirate-polka stylings with his band, The Widow's Bane.
