Journal is a song that describes some of the things Ian wrote in his Journal during tough times. Adam actually wrote the lyrics, and they fit Ian's situation so well that we didn't have to change them at all. Derek Joel's haunting vocals bring a huge, epic feeling to this track. Pulling Away was a song that we wrote to say that we were done with people. We wanted to say that we would cut someone from our lives if we felt that they were being detrimental to our happiness. Thanks to our great friend, Julia Gennocro, we were able to establish this message beautifully. Distant moves away from the troubled side of our lives, and gets back to whats really important to us; making music. In the track, Ian describes his creative process. The upbeat melody and huge drop are sure to get you dancing.
