The song 'Flying Colors' is extra special because of the song story behind the song. Nicole is a full-time Physical Therapist as well as a songwriter. One of her patients who had already lost one leg was told by her doctors that she would lose her other leg. Everything in the natural seemed to back up this claim. The Lord spoke to Nicole supernaturally and told her to encourage this patient telling her that she was going to make it through this time with Flying Colors. The therapy came to a halt and Nicole did not know what happened to this patient, ultimately. Two years passed and Nicole was shopping in her local grocery store. Her patient walked up to her without any sort of assistive device. She did not lose her other leg and she was walking normally and was actually thriving. Two weeks from the day she reunited with her former patient, the Lord inspired Nicole to write this song, 'Flying Colors'.
