ARTIST - AUTOBIOGRAPHY JEREMIAH (THE PHOPHET) LOWE JR The date I was born was August 7, 1968 to Jeremiah and Lillie Mae Lowe Sr. Baldwin County Hospital was located in a small town outside of Macon Ga. called Milledgeville. Milledgeville is about twenty minutes from another small town called Gordon, Ga. that\'s where we lived until I was about six. There\'s one brother whose name is Jeffery Latroy Burney we call him Troy, he\'s a year older than me. Denise V. Lowe is my sister who is three years younger than I am. Grandma Pearly Mae Burney is the backbone of the family on my mother\'s side. My Grandpa on my daddy\'s side was a big inspiration to me. He started ministering the word of GOD when he was around 40 years young. The church was the thing back in those days. It still is the thing, but people don\'t go like they use to back in the days. Back then it wasn\'t a question if you were going to church or not, you were going every Sunday. I was always curious about life. How it worked, where did it come from and how do you work it. Momma said I was born with a veil on my face. What that meant I didn\'t know until later on in life. The way it was explained to me was, you could know and see things before it happened. Whether or not it\'s true I\'m not sure. One thing that is for sure though, my Lord has brought me a mighty long way. As long as my memory can take me there has always been this feeling that something SPECIAL was going to happen to me. As I got older SPECIAL turned into PUROSE. What was it? I just wasn\'t able to put my finger on it. It almost seemed as if I was here in this earth for the second time. Or even the things that were spoken to me were spoken before. We moved from Gordon to the Southside of Atlanta in an area called Adamsville. The year was 1974. My age then was six. The city was a whole lot bigger than the country that was for sure. Momma and daddy broke up about the same time we moved here. One night a fight broke out in the apartment between them, the police came, and dad was gone. Now you got three kids a mother and no father. Denise was born with this bone disease in both of her legs; she was in a body cast from her waist down most of her childhood; Troy was laid back; and me I was 6 going on 60. Momma and daddy didn\'t stay together a year after we moved here. Eventually we relocated again to Midtown in an area called OLD FOURTH WARD. The name of the street was Boulevard N.E. 509 was the building number we lived in. By that time I\'d made it to elementary school, its name is C.W. Hill, which is from kinder garden to third grade. After that I went to another elementary school, which was called Morningside that has 4th & 5th grade. By the time I got to Middle school, which was Austin T. Walden where I attended my 6th- 7th\' & 8th grade years. Boulevard was straight up hood. Country living didn\'t have anything on City living. I know to you\'ll out there on the west coast or upstate New York or even the Midwest, all of the south is considered country. Atlanta is totally different, even from my childhood until now. Everything is fast pace; if you\'re not careful you\'ll get left behind. I mean all the way from public transportation to public housing. Momma worked two jobs, I don\'t know if she was getting any aid. What I did know was that she wasn\'t getting any child support. Being a kid you really don\'t know how hard it is to be a single parent until you grow up and be one. While she was working two jobs and hardly ever home, my environment was forming the type of person I would be. Drugs and police were all over that area. Pushers would run out in the middle of street to flag cars down to get them to buy there product. I got use to it so much that; it was the norm after being in the neighborhood so long. It actually got to the point where I didn\'t think anything was wrong with it, which was what I wanted to do when I was older. At this particular time in my life, I was nothing but an elementary school student who\'s going to impact the world and didn\'t anybody know it but GOD and me. The way I was thinking was negatively. What the devil meant for bad, GOD turn it into good. While in middle school, that\'s when my first encounter with law occurred. Only being a juvenile, they called my parents to come get me. At that time only momma was active in my life. She came and got me the same day. It was because a lot of us kids were making wrestling moves on the P.E. teacher\'s 280z. When I got to school the next day, the detectives were there at the school looking for me. All the kids that were doing elbows and kicking the car all blamed it on me, me alone. I played my part in the whole ordeal but I wasn\'t the only one. All the guys that I hadn\'t seen in school for a long time, that\'s where they were, in juvenile hall. Momma got me a layer. The conclusion of the matter was I being totally responsible. After going through a lot of growing pains of life, a prayer was made on my behalf to send me a wife. The date was that clear to me but the year was 1990. That prayer will never leave my memory. There was a figure that was drawn in my mind of the type of women that I wanted, Coca Cola figure of course. My place of employment was Wendy\'s on Boulevard. I\'d dropped out of school because at the time I needed cash. Momma and I just wasn\'t getting along, me being a grown man at 21 years old, staying at home with mom wasn\'t cutting it for me. Another job was what was needed. There was this International House of Pancakes that is in Sandy Springs Ga. Where I applied for a job. The manager that came to interview me was so beautiful. I\'ve seen beautiful women before but it was something about this one. As GOD as my witness when I saw this woman I heard a bell ring. Her name was Linda. At the time it was probably more lust than anything. But it was something special about her. After reviewing my application, she told me that she\'d just hired two guys and that if either one of them didn\'t work out she\'d give me a call. The way I left the building all thirty-two of my teeth were showing, happy that I met her, but sad I didn\'t get the job. It wasn\'t two weeks on a Sunday morning that she called me. I probably got off from Wendy\'s the night before around 3:00am in the morning. \"May I speak to Jeremiah\", she asked\" “This is him\", I replied. \"This is Linda from the IHOP in Sandy Springs\", she said. \"Oh, how are you doing?\" I answered. \"Are you still available for the DMO (Dish Machine Operator) position\", she continued. \"Yeah, sure\", I said, so overwhelmingly excited. \"How long would it take you to get here?\" she asked. \"45 minutes\" I screamed. \"I\'ll see you in 45 minutes\" she said. It was Sunday morning; the buses run about every hour on Sundays. I knew it was going to take 1 hour 45 minutes at the least to get there, $4.25 was the stating pay for dishwashers. When I got there, dishes were piled so high I didn\'t even care. I was just happy to be there. It was a corporate store; in 1991 Linda got transferred to another store after it was franchised to the new owner. Before she left I got a chance to tell her about the feelings that I had for her. She seemed amazed and surprised at the same time. It just so happens that after I\'d told her that, the next day was my birthday and that I wanted to spend it with her, she agreed. \"WOW\" I said to myself. We got married May 23, 1992. GOD had sent me the women of my dreams. There are still times when I got pinch myself to make sure I\'m not dreaming. Linda and I were like night and day. There were many issues that I was struggling with and you got Linda who just seems to have an answer for everything. Then you got me, being a product of my environment. Linda left IHOP in 1992; she begins to work for this car dealer as a salesperson on the south side of town. While at Vigil Ford she met Darryl McKenzie. He got hired there to as a salesperson shortly after Linda did. They became to be real good friends and eventually became floor partners. There was something special about McKenzie. He\'d just left a job working at Radio Shack, doing what I don\'t know, but selling cars was the reason he was born. He came to Vigil Ford and broke every sales record it was to be broken. If it was 31 days in a month he\'d sale 31 sometimes 32 cars a month. Mind you the dealership is closed on Sunday and they give you one day off during the week. Then you got Linda who broke all the records for a female. Daryl died in 2002; Linda attended the funeral. She told me on numerous occasions how Darryl would invite her to his church. God made a way for her to get there. After Linda went to the funeral; she started to attend on a regular basis. As for me I was somewhere out in left field at the time; somewhere over the rainbow. Linda would bring the tapes home of the sermon. I\'d have the volume down on the TV watching the NFL while she would cook and listen to the sermon. When I started to hear that word, it was like something I never heard before. It wasn\'t a lot of hoping and hollering. It was being taught to where you could understand and interpret the scriptures. Linda told me, \"Jeremiah, I don\'t know what you\'re on but I\'m on something else!!!!\" I wanted the relationship to last, \"yeah, I love Linda\" I said to myself. It even got to the point to where she started putting the CD’s of Sunday service in my truck. When I got ready to go to work Monday morning, once I turned the truck on the Word came on. God began to speak to me and tell me who I was in Him. \"You\'re not a whoremonger, you\'re not a drug addict, and you\'re not an alcoholic, you\'re my son and I love you,\" He said. Then He continued to say, \"I have a purpose for you, and I\'ve been with you all this time.\" \"Come it’s time to follow me now, we have work to do.\" I followed, went to WORLD CHANGERS CHURCH INTERNATIONAL, joined the church September 4, 2002 on a Wednesday night and haven\'t looked back since. I met the right people far as the music is concerned. I ask God if this Holy Hip-Hop thing was what he wanted me to do. If it was, I asked Him to give me a voice; that when people hear it that they would hear Him and willingly want to obey Him. I studied the Word, worked the Word, the Word works if you work it. I just look back over my life; how God used this world to train me, then pulled me OUTA DARKNESS ENTA LITE. He answered me when I asked for a wife. He needed her to meet McKenzie, he died, and Linda went to his church. Eventually I got there and here we are. There are a lot of other things that happen through this process that I\'d like to testify to that\'ll be in my autobiography of my life in depth. The name of the book will be OUTA DARKNESS ENTA LITE coming in the fall of 2009. PEACE I LEAVE TO YOU!!!!!! THIS IS GOD, JUST LISTEN TO THE MESSAGE, IT\'S ALL WORD. THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT
