While most of Pickett's material bridges classic indie rock and symphonic music, 'Icemine Firelight' is an uneasy slab of ambient electronica that tells the story of a distant, nameless planet of unspeakable cold and massive, impossibly deep methane seas that mech-suited workers mine for mercury.

Using intergalactic synths and tortured electric guitars, the soundscape here is as abstract as it gets...bordering somewhere on dark electronica and something from an alien planet.
