Based out of Clarksburg, Anglerfish is a Northern California heavy rock band strongly influenced by the desert/stoner rock scenes, as well as the local Bay Area punk scene. The three piece band formed in 2012 after guitarist Jacob Belway and bassist Sam Merwin met as undergraduates at UC Davis. Joe Tapia is the group's current drummer, and spearheaded the effort to record the band in-house (literally in the house they practice in).
