Blackbirdz are: Ben Chung- vocals, guitar Dave Zavala- vocals, guitar, harmonica Greg Ellis- keyboards DJ Bonin- drums, vocals Ted Mabbatt- bass, vocals Bio Formed in early 2003 as the brainchild of long-time friends Ben Chung and Dave Zavala, (guitars), the Blackbirdz hatched into a five-piece original Rock band. With dueling guitars, keys, thumping bass and driving beats the Blackbirdz have evolved into a top flight jam/rock band. Their quintessential good times electric psychedelia makes them a must see. Organically grown from the beaches of Southern California, the Blackbirdz sound is a mix of Rock and Reggae with a fat slice of Jam.
