Unveiling a blend of rich smooth jazz with a touch of R&B, the compilation consists of compositions written & produced by George & Tracy Franklin and a beautifully orchestrated instrumental cover of Billy Joel’s “Just the Way You Are”. The salient talents of saxophonist John Rekevics, keyboardist John Cain, vocalist Craig Montgomery, and George on bass and vocals, bring together colorful melodies and infectious grooves. World renowned and Grammy award winning keyboardist Bob James is featured on “Tracy”. From the light air of “Simple Thoughts” and the entrancing “Perfect Love”, to the discriminate taste of “Daybreak”, the listener’s hearing palette will then journey to the soulful groove of “So Real.” The Brazilian touch of “Tracy” gives way to the lush texture of “Just The Way You Are”, while “We’ll Always Be” and “When I Found You” are reminiscent of smooth ‘70’s R&B ballads.
