Back in 2006, longtime collaborators Andreas Jensen and Joe Killington turned Armand van Helden's 'My My My' into a smash for the second time with The Funktuary Radio Mix, which was Radio 1's second most played track of the year and a hit around the world. So what did they do next? The inevitable string of similar remixes and reworkings? No - instead they started work on their debut album and honed their live show, in preparation for launching The Funktuary as an artist project. The album jumps genres between synth-pop, electro, soul, blues, reggae, and balearic house, with songwriting always to the fore.
