Al Melville, Col Robertson & Peter Orr make up the band "Peace Of Mind". This is their first collaborative album together as a trio. Col Robertson provides the lyrics on most of the songs on this album along with her haunting warm vocals. Roderick Mcdonald has written the lyrics for "Go Train Go Fast". This album has it all from slow vocal ballads through to more uptempo songs which give the album plenty of light and shade. Peter Orr adds his magic touch on each track with his powerful and unique style of guitar playing. A lot of hard work and studio time has gone into this production and it shows in the shear diversity of their music and playing styles. The album also incorporates shades of Indian music which give the album a truly "world music" feel and character. In short an album of great beauty and depth that reflects the ever changing world in which we live and sends out a clear message for all humanity to live at peace and respect and care for this Earth and all life.
