This record is dedicated to my three first loves: my family, my church, and my God. The deeper I fall in love with them, the less distinct they become. There is really only one Family, one Body, and one Christ, who is God over all. They each have proclaimed to me--sometimes shouting, sometimes whispering--this bittersweet story of redemption. And this has become my anthem: Redemption! Redemption through Jesus Christ! Redemption! . . . it's the only thing worth talking about. . . . it's the only thing I have.
