Gwendolyn M. Smith, originally from Hanford, CA enters the contemporary Christian music scene as not only a singer and songwriter, but a powerful evangelist proclaiming the love of Jesus Christ. She began singing as a child in the junior choir of her church, but didn't begin writing until her first year of college when God sent her first song. After realizing the divine source of her music, Gwendolyn began recording those tunes onto cassette tapes and presently has over one hundred songs in her catalog.

The album "Faithful" has been a year in the making and is a testament to the love of Jesus and his enduring faithfulness. It is intended to be an album of inspiration and hope to people both Christians and non-Christian, but especially to those who are hurting. This message of hope and faithfulness is evident simply by turning the CD over and reading the song titles. Songs such as "Pressing My Way", "God's Got It All In Control", and "He'll Work It Out For You" encourage listeners to keep on going in spite of current situations. Songs such as "Jesus Saves" and "He Did It Just For Me" speak of the everlasting love and salvation found in a relationship with Jesus Christ.
