LXMB is one of San Diego’s most demanded and hottest rap groups, expanding their already strong fan base through YouTube. Before there was LXMB, there was LX which then consisted of Ashantaa Lowe aka "Tay Diddy" and Andre Low aka "Dre da Flame". Together they worked endlessly at the Mariners Cove Apartments where they resided to produce, mix and engineer various songs and beats. Later, Dre’s sound of music and creativeness started to take a different path from Tay’s. Parting ways from LX Dre moved on alone and created a Christian Rap group by the name of the Holy Bro’s. Now, it was time for LX to find a new identity as well, adding new members and new sounds to become what is now LXMB. Their hunger and drive for success has caught the attention of many ears in the city and beyond. They bring a whole new sound and face with their unexpected release of their mixtape “Function Season” in March of 2012. Growing their "crew" which not only includes the original member "Tay Diddy" but the group now consists of Dijonelle White aka "Dshy", Brian Lockett aka "Briss Mula", Anthony Jones aka " AJaxx" and Byron Thomas aka "BeeTee". Some of LXMB's songs feature or spotlight collabs with other local and upcoming artists such as Deondre "DGeneral" Williams, Zack, Mello Cash, Mark The SharkShark, Mac Vi$a, Eddie Bang and Juan Drigo. With a new and unique sound LXMB is working hard to not let their great talent go unnoticed.
