The Israelites formed in Los Angeles California in 1989. In 2007 lead singer/guitarist Rich Carlstedt moved to Oregon. He found a new lineup there and in the last few years they have opened for artists such as The English Beat, Bad Manners and played the Victoria Ska fest in Canada. It took several years to gather the right line-up but finally by September of 2010 it was time start recording which was long past due. The result is this first in a series of releases called, " The seven inch sessions". We will be recording 4, four song eps that will also be released as six seven inch vinyls. This first release contains some really great Reggae and Rocksteady. From drum tracks to keyboards this ep shows our fans that The Israelites continue to strive in they're endevors to recreate Authentic Jamaican music.
