The album, Walking Into Brooklyn, is his first solo album after a decade-long career touring the United States with his iconic alt-country outfit, Union Pulse (also available on CDBaby.com). Written and recorded in Mexico, the songs on Walking Into Brooklyn are a very intimate look into J. Redding's private life. Heavy topics like his struggle with alcohol and his love for another man's wife, along with light-hearted matters like his father's fantastic eccentricities and a playful look at Cleveland, Ohio.
