简介

Love for music is their bond and unique chemistry as performers is what sets Los Mamboteros apart from the rest. Their dynamic voices, rhythm, energy and dance moves on stage entertained huge crowds on a recent tour of the US, with shows in Houston, Washington, Chicago and New Jersey. In New York they performed their hit song “Yo Soy Latino” on TELEMUNDO and UNIVISION and appeared on stage at South Street Seaport and at the famous 116th street festival - the kick off day of the Puerto Rican Day parade. Recently they added a new member to the group – JORGE who makes the young girls scream with his hot dance moves and his beats on the turntables that make the crowds go wild. Always evolving, Los Mamboteros continue to record new songs with today’s hottest producers... most recently “Bailame” and “Mueve tu Cuerpo” with NAN2 – “El Maestro De Las Melodias” – that are climbing the charts in DJ record pools across the US. HARVEY AVERNE, winner of the first and second Grammy Awards for the Latin Music category in history said “Los Mamboteros have the ability to cross racial, age and gender lines ... Music Lovers every where...no matter their preference or taste... will go crazy for Los Mamboteros. To hear them is to love them..so people spread the word!!! Los Mamboteros are here!!!” THE HISTORY BRYAN – Born in Guatemala city, Bryan began pursuing his musical ambitions writing his first songs at the age of 11. By 14 he knew music and the stage was his calling when he formed the 5 member group CONTACTO. The “merenge house” group became a huge hit in Guatemala with 8 number one hits on the country’s charts. After changing their name to CTO in 2002 the group came to the US, appearing on television, radio and the stage in a successful summer tour. They performed their hit song “Manos Arriba” on Univision’s “CALIENTE”, NBC’s “Wayne Brady Show” and opened for stars such as Luis Fonsi, Sin Bandera and Don Omar. After recording 3 CD’s and performing in hundreds of concerts with CTO (Contacto) it was the explosion of popularity of Reggaeton onto the music scene that made Bryan decide he was ready to move on to a new chapter in his music career. Influenced by Daddy Yankee and Don Omar’s introduction of tropical sounds into their music, Bryan decided on making a full fusion of salsa, merengue and reggaeton... which led him to EDWIN – Born in El Salvador and raised in Guatemala, Edwin was a natural born musician. By his teen years he was invited to record with many different music groups in Guatemala including one of the most popular Merengue groups – El Grupo Rana. Edwin wrote 3 songs for Rana and toured the US in 2004 and 2005 with the group, opening for greats like Don Omar and Ivy Queen. While still performing with CTO Bryan decided to record his first Reggaeton song “Esa Mujer” and invited Edwin to sing as a guest. While in the studio it became apparent to everyone that their individual sounds made an amazing combination....a full fusion of salsa, merengue, R&B and reggaeton with that tropical flavor that is...LOS MAMBOTEROS
