Sunmachine is an interesting mix; interesting because it's about equal parts appealing and forgettable. "Sunchyme," which opens and closes the CD, sounds rather like something you'd hear in a dance club, only more cheerful, and "Carnaval de Paris" contains some odd juxtapositions (did I hear bagpipes in there?). The oddly titled "Be My Friend" has some vaguely Middle Eastern touches, and "Malaway" is based around something that may or may not be a didjeridu. However, if one of your criteria for music is that you remember it after the CD's stopped playing, you'll probably want to give Sunmachine a miss. While a pleasant listen, not much of it is memorable.
